Bicycle touring is my passion and I try and get out for multi-day or multi-week tours each year. I love to be going somewhere when I ride, exploring new roads and trails, seeing new places and meeting new people. While most of my tours have been in the northwest: Oregon, Washington, and Idaho, I also did a three week tour in Florida in 2016 and a six week tour in New Zealand in 2017. I also do a ten day tour with the Mid-Valley Bicycle Club each summer we call Loop Tour.

Around the peninsula counter clockwise. Starting and ending in Montsano, Wa and heading north along Hood Canal and Puget Sound, around and back down the coast. Highlights inlude the Olymipc Discovery Trail and the coast.
Bend to Bend via the central Oregon Cascades. Highlights include Smith Rock, Sisters, Mckenzie Pass, and Auferhiede Forest road.
West to East across Northern Washington on State Highway 20, including North Cascades Highway.
Corvallis to Corvallis via the coast
Ashland to Missoula. Over the Cascades and north to the Adventure Cycling Trans America bike route. Through Eastern Oregon and up lots of Rivers in Idaho,
Carbondale to Carbondale via five passes on dirt roads whenever possible.
In the summer of 2005, 7 of us did a week long bike tour of northern Idaho. We we're fortunate to have Kevin and Barbara along with their van as a support vehicle.
