Forecast said no rain between 10-3. They lied. It was cold too. Snow in the foothills. I survived.
Tenners had an ambitious ride planned. With rain imminent we chose to stay close to home.
No rain. Cold when the sun was hiding.
Had to take the Rialta for a new windshield. Rode to Margin and around in the rain.
Light rain mostly held off until the last stretch home. Dental cleaning at noon so left Imagine early. Then headed back in and met up with John.
Most of the gang started in Adair and went to Peedee Pie Day. John and I ran into Steve H on the way to Albany and then at Margin. Then Mike and Lori showed up. Nice day really. Colors still on.
1:00 before the fog lifted and it was warm enough for a ride.
Fog lifted and sun came out enough for me to ride to the liquor store for my yearly supply of Jack Daniels.
Rode with the group but split off and didn’t go to Imagine. Instead Dave and I just went to Philomath.
Cold start but tolerable after. Extra loop through Bald Hill Park.
Dodging rain showers. Winter is here.
Cold fog lifted about 10. I didn’t get out till 11. Stopped at Kinetic Bagel first, then Willamette park bike path and out 99 to Airport Road. Back Fern Road etc.
Cold north wind, but sunny.
Cold morning but not bad later. Big group. 14 people at Imagine. Wander round with John and Tom after.
Tagged along with the Tenners, who were never all that far ahead of us. Turned into a gorgeous day with bright autumn foliage.
Got out late as it was 45 degrees in the morning. No one at Hiatt when I got there but a bunch of people showed up as I was about to leave.
Never got warm. A pre winter ride, but no rain.
Rode around taking pictures of the fall colors. Not quite at their peak yet. Got rained on for a few minutes but then the sun came out again.
First ride on the new Brooks spring saddle. Took a few adjustments along the way to get it set right. Now just needs to break in. Started out sunny but then the clouds started rolling in. Still warm.
50th anniversary ride. All groups started together. 60 riders. The Easy Rollers had 22. Gorgeous day. Sunny and mid 70s with little wind.
Cool and cloudy, just right for riding. Had ear Dr appt., got covid and flu shots, got coffee, rode to town via campus.
Cooler day with a few drops of moisture but nothing serious. Good crowd.
Warm sunny day with bright fall colors. Over the hill to Wiles - Military - DeArmond - Rifle Range.
Rode into town to meet Rick and Sam. Cooler and windy, but still sunny.
Nice day, big group. Unseasonably warm and sunny.
Rode Salmonberry and up Alsea S. Fork, then drove Hull Oakes, then rode Bellfountain.
After driving all day yesterday I rode all day today, the hardest day. Did 3412. Survived. Won’t do it again.
I mostly drove today but still had time to get in some mostly flat miles.
Gorgeous first ride of fall. Cold north wind to start. Warmed up nicely. Good group. Met the Tenners at Margin.

Up Jackson Creek, down Oak Creek, then a little jog through Bald Hill. Nice day, sunny and almost 70.
Cool and cloudy with rain on the way.
Rode mostly with Teddi and Sarah, and a little with Nelson and Jesse.
Only did 24 in the ride but had 8 miles on the odometer from some test rides.
A little cooler but still a nice day.
Another great day for a ride. A couple of extra loops around town.

Did a loop through town with the rollers and back to Osborn to meet 11:00 ride to the beer festival. Then the river path south with Tom.
Got out early enough to meet the gang headed to Hiatt Bakery. Smoky hot day, but cool enough in the morning.
Early dentist appointment. Then I got in 22 miles to make 4,000 for the year. Yippee!
Mt. View - Independence Hwy - Buena Vista - Corvallis Rd - Parker - Helmick - Airlee - Berry Creek - Coffin Butte - Arboretum.
Stops at BV Park and Helmick Park.
