Finally a sunny day. Still cool but nice. We did the Valley loop at a good pace, then I continued on solo, and slower, to Buckhorn spgs to get the miles.

Mushy snow on Toothpick, didn't even try it. White Rabbit had none.

Cold by dry. Never got much over 40. My legs were tired after the push up through the snow yesterday. Quite a contrast from the ride a year ago.

Fresh snow on the road and trails. Sunny in the valley but snowing on top. Toothpick was packed and in good shape. Catipiller was loose and slushy.

Cold and wet. Rode up to lambs saddle but didn't ride toothpick. White Rabbit was great. Incredible view at night.

First out to Buckhorn. Nice day, about 60 degrees. Rode pretty hard. I'm beat.

Sunny but cold. Chain is holding up but now a problem with front wheel bearing. Went up Catwalk part way.

Good to be back on the home trails. Mostly sunny and almost 60. Rode easy and enjoyed every minute of it.

Cerro Cabrillo - Morro Bay 16 Rock Hopper Bob H., Bob Q., Larry, Paul

Very nice single track trough open hills and brush. Nice views. Then did some hike-a-bike up black hill and then rode around Morro Bay. Sunny day with a brisk wind.

Great trails. Started out sunny but fog rolled in when we were on the ridge trail. Lots of varied terain.

Rode out the bluff at sunset. Very nice. Rabbits everywhere.

Wilder Ranch - Santa Cruz 16 Rock Hopper Bob H., Bob Q., Paul

Did some of the inner loops this time. More climbing and better single track. The upper road was the worst mud I ever rode through.

Nicine Mark park - Santa Cruz 22 Rock Hopper Bob H., Bob Q., Larry, Paul

Trails were closed due to mud. Just rode up the dirt road. Very nice woods.

Sinson Gulch - Willow Camp Trail 8 Rock Hopper Bob H., Bob Q., Larry, Paul

Mostly hike-a-bike up a steep coastal headland. Hang gliders above and below. A nice sunny day and great views. Great ride down.

Annadel State Park - Santa Rosa 15 Rock Hopper Bob H., Larry, Paul

Rocky and muddy. Nice park very close to town.

Boggs Mountain 12 Rock Hopper Bob H., Larry, Paul

First day of trip. Warm and sunny. Great trails. Some rocks. Lots of climbing but not all at once. Only saw 3 other riders.

Rained in the morning and now the snow was wet. More slush and mud then good snow. We sawed a tree that was blocking toothpick just below cat walk.

Lots of snow. Everyone else went skiing. Trails were fine. Snow up high and snow and mud on the way down.

Traces of snow on the road near the top. Hitt Rd. is a real mess from the rians. Lots of mud and gullies.

Fresh snow on the trees and side of the trails but none on the trails. Took my saw and cleared the tree on Lamb's Mine trail.

Four Corners - Catwalk 18 Rock Hopper Bob, Paul

Snow from quarter mile from the top. Needed to push for quite a ways. Catwalk was clear though. Trails are in remarkably good shape.

Survey the damage. Heavy rain yesterday and day before. Not quite like the 97 flood though.

Cooler but no rain. Trails are muddy. Great to have Bob riding with us again.

Very warm, almost balmy. Trail was a bit muddy.
