Oregon Coast

Linda and I took a three day weekend trip to the coast.
Oregon Coast
This picture was taken just north of the state line and just south of the Winchuck River. There was a lot of activity with seals playing in the surf and seagulls and pelicans flying around,

It was really warm and sunny when we first got to the beach.

Some seals paying in the surf
We tried really hard to get some good pictures of the seals but they always seemed to go under just as we clicked the picture. This is the best shot I got.

We drove north up the coast to Bandon where we had a beach house for two nights. The next day was stormy in the morning but by afternoon the rain stopped.

The next day we hiked to a place called Blacklock Point which is just north of Port Orford.

Of course no trip to the coast is complete without a stop in the redwoods. This picture was actually taken on the first day on our way to the beach.
